Veritus Group Academy
Fundraising Courses Designed for Real Donors and Real Results
Mid-level and Major Gifts fundraising programs flourish when donors feel known, valued, and meaningfully connected to the work they care about.
Veritus Group Academy (VGA) equips fundraisers and leaders with proven systems, clear strategy, and practical tools to generate sustainable fundraising revenue through authentic donor relationships.
This isn’t theory. Everything we teach has been tested in real organizations, with real donors, and real revenue on the line.
Learning options designed to build high-performing fundraising teams
With a range of on-demand and session-based learning experiences, our learning pathways help you move forward with confidence.
VGA courses are eligible for Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credits, the world's only globally recognized, accredited certification for fundraising professionals. And as a VGA participant, you’ll be invited into our exclusive community where you can access our rich network, live calls, additional resources and more.
Introductory Courses
VGA’s self-paced intro courses provide a strong, grounded foundation for fundraisers and leaders who want to better understand how effective donor engagement really works. Start here if you’re new to mid-level or major gifts, or want to reset your approach.
Certification Courses
We offer our flagship courses — in Mid-level, Major Gifts, and Fundraising Leadership — several times a year. These courses deliver deep learning experiences and provide VGA’s highest level of guidance and accountability, with optional one-to-one coaching for added support.
Skill-Building Courses
These self-paced courses are designed for professionals already familiar with The Veritus Way™ and want to deepen expertise in critical areas of donor engagement, pipeline economics, donor asks, and planned giving. These can be taken any time and often work best after completing a certification course.
Delane Bailey-Herd
“The VGA course has been absolutely phenomenal, the information is excellent and it has been worth every cent we’ve invested. I just told our CEO today that every penny spent was worth it, and we are already implementing so many of the things we’ve learned; now we’re thinking so differently about everything we do. Whoever put this together was brilliant, and the work we have to do to get our certification is fabulous!!”

“After only a few weeks in a VGA course, it’s totally changed my outlook on donors and how I approach my work. Thank you! I can't believe how on-point the program is. It’s truly the best professional development I've signed up for in YEARS.”

“I’ve been doing this work for 40 years and still benefited from VGA – and that says a lot. My colleagues said at first that we shouldn’t spend the money for me to attend because of all my experience, but I wanted to continue to learn and to keep my staff accountable by being involved. I am so glad I did. I loved what I see as the spiritual aspects of The Veritus Way, which I don’t see in other courses. You understand at a deep level that it’s about taking care of the donor before it’s about the revenue. My staff was from different backgrounds, so having my team attend VGA moved us and organized us into a high-functioning team. We now speak the same language, and all have a Marketing Impact Chart which we use for accountability. We also had regular meetings together during the course. We talked about our learnings from each module and dialogued about its application to our work.”

“I’d been a fundraiser for approximately nine years and although I was having success, I knew I could do better and needed training. Veritus Group Academy has shown me how to view fundraising with a new, big picture perspective. I love the Veritus philosophy of how to approach and partner with donors; that the donor is the relationship. Veritus delivers an organized and passionate approach to fundraising, and provides tools and resources to take with you so that you can start implementing immediately.”

“I was a first-year fundraiser, learning on the job during a lot of organizational turnover, and I had little to no training, other than the Veritus Group Academy Major Gifts course. Well… guess what? That year, I was able to bring in $1.2 million in revenue for the Food Bank. I owe a debt of gratitude to VGA for providing the strategies that have been transferable to corporate community relationships.”
