Stephen has been a leader in non-profit fundraising and integrated marketing for nearly 20 years and has helped clients raise millions of pounds. Working with hundreds of charities in the UK, Europe and North America, he is a recognised expert in individual major gifts fundraising. In 1995 Stephen was appointed UK Partner in London of the international fundraising firm, The Domain Group, based out of Seattle, USA. During the following 15 years he worked for a host of brand name charities including National Trust, World Vision, WaterAid, Marie Curie Cancer Care and he was responsible for launching Smile Train into the UK market. He has also worked in the Higher Education, Animal welfare and Hospital verticals.

Sian is an experienced high-value fundraising coach and she has worked with Veritus’ clients to develop their major and mid-level programmes. She specialises in evaluating their communications, both written and spoken and then coaching them to produce their best performance. She helps her clients to build strong relationships with their donors and to have a donor-centric approach to their work – so often missing in non-profit organisations. The approach, so seldom used, of putting themselves in the donor’s shoes before communicating with them reaps dividends.

Following a highly successful career as a sales director in the printing industry, Lynn “changed direction” re-trained achieving a Masters in integrated direct marketing, specialising in the charity sector. Lynn is highly experienced in the management of philanthropic development with over 10 years’ working in UK and international charities, particularly in the medical, education and overseas development field. She works strategically, offering support and direction for clients to develop and sustain philanthropic relationships to build their major gift networks. Lynn’s specialism is in Trust and Foundation and High Net Worth Individual relational development and stewardship. She thrives on nurturing charities and NGOs in developing their major gift programmes, through systematic and relational engagement with donors to achieve ongoing transformational gifts to meet and surpass their organisations fundraising goals.

Following a highly successful career in data science and complex-project management, Louise “jumped ship” into the charity world and found her vocation. Louise is a highly experienced major gift fundraiser with over 15 years working with local, national and international charities. She works collaboratively to support clients as they refocus their energies on a clear and solid pathway to successful relationships with potential and existing donors. Louise specialises in matching donors’ passions to charities’ needs, resulting in highly engaged supporters and higher-level gifts.

Megan brings experience from both the charity and corporate sector, having spent several years as a Major Donor Manager. Prior to this she was a Sales & Sponsorship Manager in the media industry, where she developed strong account management skills, understanding the importance of relationship building above all else. Throughout her career in the charity sector, she has been passionate about helping individuals on their journey of philanthropy, understanding what a truly unique and transformational gift this can be for both donors and beneficiaries alike.

Saskia has over 20 years’ experience in major gift and corporate fundraising as well as trusts and foundations, specialising in developing and nurturing long-term philanthropic relationships. She has worked mainly with educational and environmental charities but also has experience with animal charities and international development. Throughout her career she has particularly focussed on discovering donors’ passions in order to find the best match among the needs served by the charity. This focus has resulted in significant levels of philanthropic giving and continued engagement from many different kinds of donors. In her academic capacity she has had many years’ experience of mentoring and one-on-one teaching at all levels.
