It is far easier to just “go for the money” and be done with it. But that is a short cut you do not want to take, because you will eventually lose the donor if you treat them that way. Your donor should be your partner.
You are now at the halfway point of the year, and you should have a pretty good idea if you are on track to meet or exceed your donor giving goals.
Management and accountability systems and processes should be a kind, honest, direct way of helping a person meet expectations – their own expectations, and the expectations of the group.
