Most non-profits are great at getting gifts, but they quickly move on, forgetting about the donor. Don’t do that. Stay with that donor, and they’ll stay with you.
Effective managers lead in their area of expertise. In all other areas, they know how to get results by putting someone else in charge.
Donor research should support MGOs, not tell them what to do. That’s the manager’s job.
Some people want us to stop talking about being donor-centered. This is misguided.
